The Commissioner of Health MUST provide schools with a standing order. Covers both EpiPen and neffy. Schools register via MDH rather than finding a prescriber. Note: only schools employing a nurse may register.

How to get it in Minnesota
Two documents: a prescription in your organization's name, and a standing order saying when trained staff may use it.
- If you are a school
- the Minnesota standing order covers you. Register with the health department instead of finding your own prescriber.
- If you are a childcare program
- the Minnesota standing order does not cover you, so you will need your own prescriber to sign one.
- If you are a camp, gym, restaurant or workplace
- the Minnesota standing order does not cover you, so you will need your own prescriber to sign one.
Only schools employing a nurse may register for the state standing order.
